A/n: I was gonna go in a completely different direction, but im glad I didnt go that way. I love this, and I hope you do too! Also im so sorry I didnt get it done sooner! Alot of stuff came up!

Sodapop Curtis had a sweet tooth. It was quite obvious. He loved sweets. Chocolate cake, jelly on eggs, pancakes, no-bake cookies, rice-krispie treats, and smores are just to name a few. When he wanted something sweet, he got it. By either getting a half-off candy bar at the DX or making something himself, he’ll get it. He knows its not good for him, so he doesn’t act on his cravings often but today was just one of those days where he couldn’t resist. 

At first, the craving was small, Sodapop shrugged it off. It got worse as the day went on, and by lunch he was thinking about eating eggs with jelly on top, and a moist, chocolate cake. Of course, Darry didn’t let him bake things in the oven, not to mention how chocolate cake was Darry’s thing. So, he turned on the stove and cracked an egg, without putting in olive oil. 

“Crap, I gotta pee.” He said to himself, so walking away from the stove, Sodapop went to relieve himself. When he came back to the kitchen, there was a small fire in the pan! “Soda! Im ho-” Ponyboy tried to get out, but Sodapop was already in front of him pointing toward the kitchen “There’safire!HelpmePony!” 

Ponyboy’s eyes widened, and quickly went into the kitchen, and covered the pan using the lid, putting out the fire. “Do you want me to make you some eggs, Soda?” He asked, turning to his older brother. Sodapop nodded, relief on his face. 

When Darry came home from work, he was somewhat confused to see Ponyboy sprawled across the couch, almost asleep, and Sodapop on the floor, happily eating eggs with grape jelly. Hearing the door open, Ponyboy sat up “I think we need to ban Sodapop from cooking.”
