Mia is chubby, big blue eyes and a very typical pout that you see in folks with chubby cheeks. She has more modern hair! Black/blonde ombre. I'll post pinterest pics down under the cut of them!! I do think she has V bangs when she comes to Hogwarts. She probably wants to look put together and make a good impression. But eventually, all her responsibilities weigh on her. So her bangs are unkempt, and she might even shave her head and give herself a buzzout!
She definitely looks more like a Hufflepuff, but she is a slytherin!
Backstory wise, I don't have it fully fledged out yet! She had a few rotating caregivers throughout her childhood, but she mostly found herself being responsible for her own care, and the care of her two younger siblings. She is definitely my teenage angst self insert. She can be overly sensitive to things, emotionally and physically. She is disabled, deals with chronic pain quite frequently. She is easily flustered, and might go along with things to indulge herself, but she isn't entirely trusting. She is very nervous about new people, no matter how much she craves companionship. Might latch onto Sebastian when she first arrives to hogwarts, just because he's flirty and nice and she likes the attention. She knows that he's manipulating her at first, but she goes along with it anyway. Very much loves hard but tries to keep herself at arms length, even if she fails. I do think she might have an unnecessarily big crush on Ominis fairly fast if he apologizes for the undercroft incident. She might scare him off a little because she is not good at hiding her crush, but she does avoid things when they get too vulnerable for her liking.
Mia's friend is Savina Lovett!!! @sallowsoul's OC!!! And | literally cannot picture a universe where Mia does not love Savina with her whole heart. Even if Savina is a little baby goat in Mia's apartment that she is trying to hide from the landlord.
If we're talking canon friends! Poppy and Natty, she probably sticks close to! Garreth maybe as well! I could see things going in many different ways with Seb and Ominis, though!
