Bad Mother || Mia

Felicity checked her phone for the third time in ten minutes. Megan was late with her 10am check-in. Megan said she understood how important it was to keep to Felicity’s schedule. Oliver had researched and schedules helped people with anxiety like hers. However, they only helped, Felicity found, if others kept with the schedule as well and Megan was not sticking to the schedule. Felicity fussed checking her phone again. No response to the four text messages she sent. Why was Megan ignoring her? Megan never ignored her.

Felicity stood and paced and checked her phone again. She felt the shakes coming on again. She tried to do the breathing exercises Oliver taught her but she couldn’t draw air into her lungs. Checking her phone and she let loose a cry of frustration, “Why aren’t you answering, Megan!”
