|• #10YearChallenge "Age has given me grace but time has given me the understanding of my own race!"•|--A.C. #QOTD ... Wow, how reflecting back on ten years has been such an eye opener. Graduated college, graduated from a trade program, became a professional model, graced magazines, & slayed Runways. Worked in fashion behind the runway during #NYFW & #MiamiFW 🙌🏽Traveled for work doing what I loved within the fashion world. Been on many major networks trying to work my way up. Hosted my own radio show, a few red carpet events, and sat on panels as well as been blessed with the gift to begin motivational speaking. ... I have married, separated, tried again, separated again & divorced. Roller coaster battle with depression and anxiety. Loss everything; except the car I still have: chasing a dream. Slept in that car and practically lived out of it for a moment. I gained all I needed back but even better. Abandoned during two pregnancies. Loss myself chasing someone's love, attention and affection: snapped out of it and been finding me. I loved, loss, and learned! ... None of the above is in any special order but the most significant is becoming a mother to 3 beautiful children after being told I may never be able to carry. Finally deciding to start my businesses. Last but certainly not least, surrendering to my lord and savior and being baptized for the very 1st time in my life. If it had not been for God🙏🏽. ... Wow: his grace is and will always be sufficient but I look forward to how his grace flows through my life for the next ten years.
