Our last show before the pandemic was definitely a challenge after a power outage that occurred just hours from show time. Our models, assistants and the team @artheartsfashion @styletherunway @mastermakeuponline were total pros in trying every possible way to have the show go on by using cell phone flashlights and redesigning hair that didn’t require heat. When we finally called it at dark there was a massive undertaking to undress everyone, pack up and head down 4 flights of stairs in total darkness to load it all up. It was so sad to see the beautiful work that these artists had created go to waste but the amount of heat that was growing in the room with so many bodies and no AC was getting very uncomfortable. With so much uncertainty we waited all the next day for the call which finally came in about 4 pm which didn’t leave a lot of prep for a 7 pm show time. We had to replace and refit models but thankfully it all worked out in the end. I was so busy worrying about everyone else I had to scramble to get out for the runway finale - still obviously wearing my bikini under that gorgeous gown 😭😭 I didn’t feel so glamorous but at least the girls looked amazing cause the show must go on! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork (at Miami Swim Week) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQgqx2GraUS/?utm_medium=tumblr
