German exams

I will have two exams in the coming weeks - one oral and one written - and I feel like I’m not ready at all. I usually neglect German because my main passion is Japanese, but the truth is the language I have to learn in University is German, not Japanese. I’m not saying Japanese is “just a hobby”. It may feel like it, it’s true, but I do want to make use of it professionally in the future.

Anyway, I should find a balance between these two languages. It should be:

Japanese & German

French

And not:

Japanese

German

French

So... should I try the immersion method with German too? And not only with Japanese? Is it possible to immerse oneself in two languages, even if only partially?

I will have to find out.
