I was lucky enough to catch The Swell Season in Dublin, on the last two dates of their European tour, this weekend and enjoyed both shows very much.
The Sunday night show, however, reminded me that if there’s one thing I know it’s that you can always rely on a rendition of ‘Heyday’ (R.I.P. Mic Christopher) to get a roomful of Irish music fans up on their feet, clapping and cheering and singing along at the tops of their voices.
