The Warner Bros TV channel has uploaded it's first "Cartoon Cartoons" short aimed to adults: "Duck" from "Elliot From Earth" creators Mic Graves & Tony Hull.
Mic Graves is currently directing & co-writting an animated feature film adaptation of "Flat Stanley" at Disney Television Animation and Walt Disney Studios for Disney+.

Disney TVA and Walt Disney Studios are likely teaming up again in a different kind of adventure that you can't have any other way.....
A ‘Flat Stanley’ animated film is reportedly in the works for Disney+, according to the DisInsider as a casting call for the lead character has been sent to several casting agencies. The DisInsider has revealed that the project is being held by Mic Graves (Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe "The Amazing World of Gumball" franchise, Elliot from Earth" co-creator) as director and co-writter for the film.
According to the casting call, the movie will departure from the books, which features Stanley being the older brother instead of Arthur – and which also has him becoming flat as a result of being squashed by a bulletin board. Nevertheless, it appears designed to capture the same humor and fun for its target tween audience. The cast call mentions some of the story’s plot, which revolves around the Stanley stumbling upon a mythical artifact known as the “Eye of Odin”, which transforms him forever.
“Male, age 14 to play 14, a good-natured teen starting his freshman year in high school, where he’s desperately trying to distinguish himself from his overachieving brother, Arthur, who graduated from that same school the year before; energetic and impulsive he often acts without forethought, responding to a sudden urge or intuition, which can and does lead to regrettable consequences.”
"Flat Stanley" seems to be produced by Disney Television Animation, 20th Century Family and Walt Disney Studios. If true this will be the first collaboration that Disney Television Animation and Walt Disney Studios have in over two decades since Teacher's Pet (2004).
"Flat Stanley" follows the current trend of Disney's animation units hiring creative talent from the Cartoon Network's 2010s/early 2020s era for new animation projects across the company like Daniel Chong ("We Bare Bears") with "Hoppers" at Pixar Animation Studios, a new Disney Television Animation television project for Disney Channel created by Ian Jones-Quartey ("OK K.O! Let's Be Heroes") and a new animated film project by Diego Molano ("Victor & Valentino") for 20th Century Animation.
Plans for a "Flat Stanley" film date back in 2014 when the film rights where acquired by 20th Century Fox for a animated/live action hybrid film trought the now defunct Blue Sky Studios unit. The rights for the film where acquired by Lisa Fragner which currently works at Disney Television Animation as Vice-President of Disney+ Originals after the shutdown of Blue Sky Studios in 2021; during her ternure at Blue Sky Studios and Fox Family Films, she helped to acquire the film rights for ND Stevenson's "Nimona" and "Lumberjanes" which the first graphic novel by Stevenson became an Academy-nominated film trought Annapurna Animation in 2024.
Fragner's current job as Disney Television Animation's VP of Development and Current - Disney+ Originals includes rebooting/reviving the studio's iconic IPs ("Adventures Of The Gummi Bears", "Goof Troop", "Darkwing Duck", "TaleSpin", "Recess", "Kim Possible", "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder", "Phineas And Ferb", "Sofia The First: Royal Magic" "La Familia Avenúñez".) and expanding the studio's feature film subdivision with multiple projects in production and development (Untitled third "Phineas And Ferb" Movie, A potential "Kiff" Movie, "Flat Stanley", "Confessions Of An Imaginary Friend", "SuperFudge" which is being EP by The Russo Brothers trought their company AGBO and "The School For Sensitive Souls".)
