Is it worth it?

Here's something that challenged me this week.  We're discussing justice at church, and using this video as part of it.  Challenging.

Micah Bourne graced us with his presence at chapel this morning. As far as "celebrity status" goes, he's right up there with Taylor Swift in my books. Needless to say, I went to chapel twice just to see him again.

This evening he held a poetry open-mic session at Common Grounds coffee, a little tiny mom-and-pop coffee shop on campus with the feel of my beloved Sisters Coffee House. It was a blessed evening of blessed evenings. Hearing my peers read their poetry for the first time, seeing "closet poets" come out of the closet, and soaking up Micah's wisdom as he both spoke from the Word and spoke his own words...breathtaking.

Anyway, if you have not listened to Micah's work, I would encourage you to do so! His first album is on iTunes, and his testimony (as you can see from the video) is beautiful.
