Changing of the Tides By Michael Wade

See what happen was an ending of an era. The changing of pockets filled with the cheddar. To survive one must change with the times. So, I shed myself of death so I may try on longevity. The gangster like attitude was not going to allow me to be as conducive as I could have been. Level up or get phased out. Being the precious metal it was, it had allowed me to melt it down into an arsenal of bullets. So, I may use them throughout my travels, another way to put my gangster on it. Evolution is survival if survivals a must. All means nothing with no purpose, because no matter what every man has an end of the line. Everyone from the Atlantic to the Pacific, all stops in between own a part in good & evil put on this earth by the Divine. One is non-existent without the other. Some will choose to serve the throne willingly; they call those people the meek. Then you have those who would kill to serve the right side of the throne. Then there are those who want the throne to themselves, to rule the right hand that rules the meek. You have those who are destined to be front-line soldiers and don’t know. So far into a deep sleep, how does one see life from behind their eyelids? Blind to why their lives flow like rough river waters. Blind to the reason why the everyday trials of life are equivalent to a fist fight. Every step out of sorts blind to the proper role he/she was destined to play in this dirty game we call the struggle. Those who do know rebel. Refuse to fall in line the way they see much of their people have. That is a settlement that can’t pay for the blood spilled, the attempted purchase of obedience. For those who stayed standing the social contract became obedience or prison and/or prison or your life. Society expects “normalcy” from one living under such an oppressive condition.

           But those who choose not to be one of the meek, those who choose not to want to stand right of the throne, much less want control of the throne. Are the ones who only wants to set the meek free from the chains they’re destined to inherit. Those who want the right side shall never remain any longer than their use. Kings who lose their souls to own the throne will always find their undoing by their own undoing. They are ruling men who dare to be God but fear death. His enemy is birthed from the womb of the beast. Children refined by hells fire, their nerves singed, no feel for humanity. They fear no death, death is an angel come to set them free. Changing of the tides.

           Something happens if you lucky enough to survive the ignorance that life provides. Wisdom becomes your armor. Walking the earth living life minus emotion amongst commotion. Now woven into a society who choose to live an illusion force fed spoonful of delusions. While being picked off carried by six or judged by ten priests, a Jesus, and a Judas. Crosses, blood on my hands and on the soles of my feet.
