Michael Ivers
Michael Ivers is a 300 year old vampire who owns a bar in Los Angeles called The Sanctuary.
Born Mikhail Iversson in the 17th Century, he was part of a vampiric royal family but he left the high life when he was a rebellious spirit. He didn’t like the rules and regimen of this high life, so he ran away to the big city. He is a bit of a Rockstar, liking booze, woman, fast cars, and of course, blood.
Michael is a good natured fellow, who likes to help out the community. He is a philanthropist, using his money to build a Sanctuary for the more magical and outcasts of the world. He is charming, but often cocky, which usually gets him in trouble. He is also an amateur boxer, but he tries to keep that life separate.
And then... there’s his blood addiction. Try as he might to temper it, he usually takes a ‘costumer’ up to his room of an evening. He doesn’t kill his victims though, he mainly drinks blood to get high, and just be a party animal. He is not a vindictive vamp, but he is a womanizer. Part of the reason he rebels is due to his family being stuck in the old ways. His family was very coddling and structured, so he left, breaking away from the old traditions.
He is somewhat sensitive to sunlight, but it doesn’t debilitate him. He feels like he deserves glory, and loves his toys and status. He likes being the centre of attention and popular, and wants the best of both worlds. The royal life and the reckless life.
