michael fouchay: larry, can i help you? larry david: i just found our you're not paying me. is that true? michael: ya, it is true. larry: are you kidding?! michael: larry, i'm not paying you 'cause you're in violation of your contract. larry: violation of the contract?? what?? michael: you said you were gonna be cordial. you weren't cordial. larry: i wasn't cordial?! you're saying, to me — okay — that i wasn't cordial?! i most certainly was cordial! michael: do you know what 'cordial' means? larry: i spoke to...yes i know exactly what it means. it means to be polite, to be friendly, and not to tell people what you really think of them and what assholes they all were. yes, that's cordial.
