PART ONE-Camera catch

You and Michael met at an award show. During his third album ‘Bad’. The media became obsessed with you both as you and Michael became friends. 

The cameras would catch him staring during your performance or you laughing at a joke he would make.

“Would you maybe like to visit the studio sometime?” You said yes.

Gonna sing you my love song-

You were in red high heels and a checkered strapless white and red dress the hit just above your knees. You were at the release party for your new album. And he was there. Not just any old singer. Michael Jackson. Both of you worked with Quincy jones which is how you invited him. You were close, yall both would complain about tabloids, interviews etc. You would give him tips vise versa. 

The slow beat of the music made your hips sway lightly not in a sexual way more in a free kind of way. You were sipping on your drink, taking in the refreshing flavor of strawberry. 

“Thank you for inviting me” a soft voice said behind you and when you spun to met him you both made an electric eye contact. 

“You’re welcome, you gave me tips on a few of my songs the least I could do was invite you” you said pressing your lips in a smile. Michael took you in, the curls of your hair, the gloss in your lips, the glimmer in the corner of your eyes. 

“You look very pretty tonight” he said his face a light shade of red which you thought was very pretty. 

“As do you” He wore a black sequined jacket with a white button up underneath and sequined pants. You both just gaped at each other for moments, time slipping from you both. 

“Michael?” You say breaking the eye contact. He immediately flinch “sorry” 

“No don’t apologize and it’s not that-Quincy is trying to get your attention” 

“Oh” his face reddens, “Your really pretty” he blurts before walking hastily through the crowd. The music shifts to “gonna sing you my love” by ABBA. 

You broke into a smile. You got up to follow him. After what seemed to be an eternity you found him in the crowd on the dance floor both of yall locked gazes. You watched him mouthed an ‘hi’ with his face red. The music taking over the moment. You march up to him, yank him and press your lips to his. He was shocked but then one hand found your waist and the other on your jaw, both of you kissing passionately as the music continues 

‘Wanna sing you my love song’ 

‘When I think about you’

‘Your all I ever need darlin’ 

‘And I would love to sing my love song for you’
