[michael] I’m sure you’ll make the right decision, miss day. if you’d excuse me now, I got an important call to attend to.”
Kyle was so sweet to that little Blanket kid in Mr. Jefferson.
-He cared about him not getting up the three
-He took care of his wounds.
- Interacted with him during Dinner at Stan's house
- Wanted to bring him back to Mr.Jefferson after he was sneaking in his garden
- Wanted to save him from Mr.Jefferson
Kyle really has a sweeter side.
Meanwhile Stan was ignoring the kid and not giving a shit about it. I mean I know I've always seen him more as career driven person if anything and not as a "oh yeah i stay at home and watch the kids." I explain further if you want to know.
But really i HC that Kyle kept in contact with Blanket
[michael defensive] “I never assaulted her, that I swear!”
[jillian] “how can you be so sure?! you asked her? asked her how she liked being treated like a piece of meat to devour whenever you had an appetite?!”
[michael] “we-- we had an arrangement! she seemed fine!”
[jillian furious] “... and the fact that you didn’t even bother to think what might come from your digusting indiscretions... it’s seriously beyond me, michael!”
[michael] “I am-- what are we talking about here?!”
to be fair: jillian had stormed into his office about three minutes prior to this moment. she’d started raging the second she entered, surprising her boss in an unpleasant manner. clueless as he was, his brain now started wondering who had been talking to her...
[andrew interfering] “that’s enough, dad! what the hell’s wrong with you!”
[andrea shielding her husband] “andrew, no, it’s okay, sweety!”
[andrew upset] “it’s not! mum, what the fuck!”
[michael] “you’ve got some nerve barging in here like that!”
[andrew yelling] “no, YOU got some nerve talking to mum like that! were you actually gonna hurt her?!”
[andrea] “I am a better wife than you’d ever be deserving of, michael jefferson!”
[michael grabbing her wrist] “you watch yourself now!”
[andrea] “you think I need you?! I’m the one who’s been turning a blind eye to your infidelities all these years! how much have there been, three, four?! for all I know you’ve just been with one of your whores!”
[michael] “and that’s all your own damn fault, andrea!”
[michael] “listen to you? when was the last time you earned any real money that paid for anything?! for all we know, your little pet project is costing us more than it pays off!”
[andrea upset] “that’s not true!”
[michael continuing] “so go ahead, tell me andrea, I am all ears: tell me how I should quit my job to spend more time at home so you won’t feel less alone. who’s gonna pay for your hobby then, huh?!”
[andreas voice breaking] “you don’t mean it!”
[michael] “you should be kissing my damn feet for the life I’m providing you and the kids!”
[michael grabbing his wife] “don’t pretend you don’t want me to be mean. we both know how you like it, andrea!”
[andrea upset] “michael! I -- let go of me, I’m being dead serious!”
but as usual he was trying to escape an argument by turning it into a twisted heated sex scene. sometimes, she feared, this was a lot more about power and dominance for him than it was about actual passion. she knew it wasn’t right and yet andrea entertained the thought of just giving in once more for a brief moment. bad habits die hard, as they say...
