Hill Street Blues cast photo for the seventh and final season that aired in 1987.
Back Row - Robert Clohessy (Patrick Flaherty), Robert Prosky (Stan Joblanski), Megan Gallagher (Tina Russo).
Middle Row - Betty Thomas (Lucy Bates), James B. Sikking (Howard Hunter), Dennis Franz (Norman Buntz), Kiel Martin (J.D. LaRue), Joe Spano (Henry Goldblume).
Front Row - Taurean Blacque (Neal Washington), Daniel J. Travanti (Frank Furillo) and Michael Warren (Bobby Hill).
There's a few long running cast members, who were still around for this season but missing from this pic - Veronica Hamel (Joyce Davenport), Bruce Weitz (Mick Belker) and Charles Haid (Andy Renko).
I found the last two seasons a disappointment compared to earlier ones but they were saved by the introduction of Lt. Buntz. Buntz was a (slightly) toned down version of a corrupt cop played in a couple of earlier episodes by the same actor. Buntz also had a shocking dress sense with huge kipper ties that never matched his suits (which looked as if they might have been fashionable a decade earlier).
Of the actors pictured above Kiel Martin died in 1990 and Robert Prosky in 2008.
Ok.
I’ve been trying to write about what happened to my group but… Mihai’s presence on my blog really struck a cord with me and I’m almost too afraid to write my thoughts down but the others in my group depend on me to do it. They don’t really understand how important writing these events down is to our survival, even with me trying to explain it to them. It’s like they immediately forget what I tell them afterwards.
But… I try not to take that personally. I’m starting to suspect that there’s some sort of mental block we have here in this dimension that prevents us from fully understanding what is happening to us on a technical level. I’m sure I was like that, though the block I used to have within my mind is eroding before my eyes. And… well, once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Anyways, enough digression. We caught up to Felix last night, who was handing over the vaccines to.. Dr. Warren in his personal laboratory space in OsCorp. As soon as Felix sees me, he quickly abandons Dr. Warren and escapes from the lab before anyone could catch him. Warren was enraged at Felix for leaving him behind, and was less enthusiastic to see the creator of said vaccines wanting them back. At first, we were hoping that we could talk him out of destroying the rest of the vaccines and hopefully us outnumbering him was going to help convince him to give up. But.. he had a syringe on his person and he ended up injecting himself with… what I can only assume was the gobulin green serum I’ve seen being talked about in some of the notes I found.
He mutated right in front of our eyes. The effects were similar to that of NH, though they were more refined and stabilized, at least in terms of retaining some semblance of composure. In terms of physiology, his transformation was far more dramatic and it quickly became apparent that his body wasn’t taking to the serum well. His body fell apart, bursting into a horrific mass of flesh and muscle and of course… we had no choice but to fight him.
It’s a strange thing, to kill a man who used to be my professor back in medical school. Luckily, we managed to get a few of the sample back, but he destroyed most of them in the fight. I only have enough post exposure vaccines for two people. The pre exposure vaccines were all destroyed.
We’ll continue looking around the lab today and hopefully we’ll get back into contact with the others soon.
