A recap of what we know of Michael and Megan
So seeing as how tumblr and this blog especially have been talking about these two basically 24/7 I decided to compile a list of things we do know without forcing you to go digging through archives.
So basically:
they met in January at some night club in Vegas where she's a cocktail waitress
Michael just broke up with his previous girlfriend(former Miss. California in January)
Megan says on twitter in February that she's single.
However she tweets Phelps on valentines day something about missing him, or wanting him to have a good valentine's day to which he reteets WEEE :) I honestly have no clue what that's supposed to mean.
According to unnamed sources he bought tickets for her to go to trials in Omaha and then the Olympics in London.
She posted a picture of Herman 15 weeks from today...so that means she definitely has met her dog but that doesn't mean they are bf/gf necessarily.
Michael follows her twitter and instagram but none of his other close friends do(as far as I know none of the swim team) and none of his family follows her either.
They went clubbing together Saturday after he finished the 4x100 medley relay. That's the first time they are "caught" together. She takes a picture holding onto Michael and that's what first makes people think they are a girlfriend.
Some random gossip site claims that her dad says they have been going out since February. But I mean there's no video, nothing.
The next morning, Phelps goes to interviews and during the CNN one they ask about his plans for a family to which he replies' Haha, I need a girlfriend first." which means either they aren't going out or it isn't serious. No one says that answer to that question even if you are trying to be ambiguous.
Later that night they walk a red carpet for Speedo(say no words), takes a picture and leaves. She basically follows him around like a dog on the red carpet so yeah.
According to an anon who lives in London and was near the event said that she just happened to be there with him, I'm not sure if she meant as an escort or what, it was kind of vague.
She's been all over twitter talking about Michael, he on the other hand has yet to mention her.
Later today, TMZ digs up the fact that she's a high escort with pictures that show that she was getting paid money to fly in private jets, goodies for escorting men to events and getting paid for sex.
She also is an aspiring model at the age of 25...I have friends in the modeling industry and 25 is at the end of most model's career. Her career hasn't taken off yet and she expects it to now?
Access Hollywood tries to congratulate Phelps on keeping his relationship secret during the olympics to which he replies thank you.
Huffington Post reports that Michael avoids answering the girlfriend question by saying he's glad his friends and family are here.
