Nikita: How is he?
Birkhoff: He's a lot more focused than I've seen him in a while.
Nikita: I know when I left, I hurt him. It hurt me too. Did he say anything? After I left?
Birkhoff: About you? He didn't say anything.
Nikita: Not once?
Birkhoff: Not in front of us.
Michael: Nikita, please. I have nothing left. If you die, I die.
Nikita: All right. All right, we'll do it your way.
Michael: Thank you.
Nikita: I thought you--you said you needed to be part of something bigger than yourself.
Michael: Yeah, but there are other ways of doing that. One of the few good things I picked up during my time in Division is learning that I like being a teacher.
Nikita: What were the other good things?
Michael: You.
Owen: It's not right. What happened to you...sucks.
Michael: You always had a gift for poetry.
Owen: You wanna know what else sucks? The way you're treating her.
Michael: Owen.
Owen: I saw you in the shooting range.
Michael: What?
Owen: She saved your life. And that's the way you talk to her?
Michael: You're way out of line.
Owen: You should be on your knees. It's a good thing she was in that car with you, 'cause she's the only person I know who could've done what she did.
Michael: Stay out of this.
Owen: *exhales* Look, I can't even imagine what you're going through, but I do know what it is to carry something around. You think you want to be alone, but trust me, you don't. Michael...She's hurting, man.
Michael: She's with me, Owen. Stay out.
Owen: You get her a ring, and what? You own her? You're the only one that can care about her?
Michael: Go away.
Owen: You know, I used to see what she saw in you, but now I'm starting to wonder. *Michael tries to punch him* Still can't make a fist with that thing, huh? *walks away*
In Case You Missed It: Meet your new Jonathan Kent. Michael Bishop has been cast as Jonathan Kent on Superman & Lois. The Australian actor is joining The CW's superhero drama in season 3, taking over the role previously played by Jordan Elsass. Bishop recently made his American film debut as the lead in the Disney Channel Original Movie Spin in 2021. He's best known for his work in Australian TV and films including Grace Beside Me and Swinging Safari, as well as short films Shelter, Skin Like Bark, Detention, Pet Rock, Hunter and Gatherer, and Indiana. Last month it was announced that Elsass, who has played one of Clark Kent's (Tyler Hoechlin) teen sons since the series premiere, is exiting the show after two seasons and that his role would be recast. "Jordan Elsass has notified the Studio that he will not be returning to Superman & Lois for season 3 due to personal reasons," Warner Bros. TV said in a statement. According to sources close to the situation, Elsass' exit was the result of a private matter and not a workplace-related issue. Show-runner Todd Helbing discussed his to bring Jonathan Kent more into the central focus in season 3. "We certainly want to fold Jonathan more into the superhero stories," Helbing previously said. "What Clark says to him about the Kryptonian tech, you could take that in many different ways, so we'll see which road we ultimately go down. I have four brothers, and everybody on our staff has sort of similar experiences, so it's fun to play that [brother] dynamic. Sometimes siblings are best friends, sometimes they're at odds, but for the most part what we love about Jordan and Jonathan is that they have each other's back and that they're not jealous of each other. We'll continue to have that dynamic for sure in the show." #Recast #JonathanKent #SupermanAndLois #TheCW #MichaelBishop #JordanElsass https://www.instagram.com/p/CiN6LCdvsAC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
While some sci-fi and fantasy writers collect their short stories, Michael Bishop is going one step beyond with his collection of really short stories, “A Few Last Words For The Late Immortals.” For more, check out this exclusive interview. 📖🖊️🤏
