mini tokyo for michael holmes/blue lion tokyo photo booth at transpose.
my photographer friend michael commissioned me another photo booth illustration but this time he wanted it to be a physical cut outs.
since this was our first time doing something like this, i started from making simulation of what it'd look like in 3d and then moved onto designing buildings. i think it took me about a whole week to realise everything as i ended up having multiple iterations. it was fun to make fighter jets. (i was listening to chromakopia on repeat so it has ac-130 and i also have saab jas 39 gripen as i was reading about it earlier that month. mitsubishi f3fx is there simply because it looked like it might be the most godzillla kind of fighter jet.)
thanks michael and transpose folks for this opportunity!
