How would the brothers react to someone correcting Donatello’s work?
Synopsis: Don gets corrected and everyone has some thoughts.
Genre: Crack ish
Notes: Look me in the fucking eye and tell me you’ve never had a Donnie-style panic attack over being publicly wrong. I dare you!
Leonardo
Kinda shocked
That’s never happened before
Mainly because for the majority of their life they’d been isolated from society and out of all of them Donnie was the most science-savvy one, so there was no one to correct him
Tries to fake composure
Looks around trying to get a read of the room
It’s mostly shock all around
He’d never doubt his brother but like... what else was he wrong about?
Hmm
Raphael
Ha ha!
That must’ve been the funniest thing that had happened recently
“Not so perfect, are you, four-eyes?”
Not in any malicious sense, but Don sure got smug about his intelligence some times
Giggles like a child who’s just framed his brother for something petty and was watching him be disciplined
Other than that, genuinely doesn’t care
Everyone is wrong about things every once in a while, and he was used to the idea that so were his brothers
It’d rarely happened to Donnie to get things wrong even when they were kids, so yeah, it was surprising but not the end of the world
Donatello
The end of his world
How could he get this wrong, he researched for hours?!
Paniqq TM
Oh, how embarrassing!!!
And in front of you too?!?!
‘I know that’s not how it works, but Earth, please, swallow me whole right now!!!!’
“Uhm, I must have... miscalculated...”
‘Yeah, no shit, you did!’
‘Father was right, with no sleep, I’ll either lose my mind, or my intellect.”
Michelangelo
Not unlike Raphael, he was handling it maturely
Meaning he was giggling like a maniac
Also like Raphael, Mikey was used to being wrong, so he clearly didn’t see it as a big deal
Was ready to comfort his big bro if necessary tho
...in his own unique way
“Bro, who cares about Uranus’ life or whatever! You’re still smart!”
“We were talking about *Uranium’s *half-life, Mikey, but... thanks.”
Don secretly appreciates his brother coming to the rescue as the one who’s most in-tune with emotions, he must have seen his brother visibly shrink
