I’ve only started to watch the first few episodes but this is all really Yikes… thank you for pointing those out. The only other thing slightly worth adding on is that Quetzalcoatl of mexica myth (portrayed as Lucoa in the manga/anime) actually did get drunk and do things to/with his sister. your points still stand though. Yikes.
well, according to what someone else has told me, apparently it... wasn’t actually his sister? idk though. but yeah. it’s still like... “why did the author feel it was so necessary to make this the first thing we learn about this character”. and, like. “you know why.”
