The “Calm, Calculating, and Internally Screaming” Setter
These setters act cool and calm...on the outside. On the inside, though, they are either struggling with an inferiority complex, figuring out the best case scenario for combating an enemy, or treating the game like a literal chess board.
Bonus: They’re kind of hot, but also kind of awkward or dorky.
The “Sweet and Sour” Setter
These setters seem sweet, supportive, and “refreshing,” but don’t let that fool you. In a match, these setters aren’t afraid to play dirty, experiment, or toy with the players on both sides of the court to make sure the game goes their way.
Bonus: Their teammates will probably be the death of them.
The “Seen and Not Heard” Setter
These setters aren’t manipulative, loud, or perfectionists -- they are quiet leaders who may seem timid, but show fortitude and skill in leading their teammates towards being their best, especially on the court.
Bonus: Their team may not always show it, but they really respect them.
The "Bread and Butter” Setter
These setters don’t have any fancy tricks and are “what you see is what you get.” However, their down-to-earth, grounded presence and positive attitudes show incredible enthusiasm and optimism on the court, and allow them to be versatile, too.
Bonus: They’re super friendly, and their teammates gravitate towards them.
The “Grumpy Control Tower” Setter
These setters are highly competitive and can lash out at their teammates, especially in the heat of the game, though not enough to cause the team morale to crumble. They may appear standing still to be stoic or quiet, but they really get loud when the game gets going.
Bonus: Their teammates sometimes find their antics amusing.
