Easier here, I hate long posts :P Ok, maybe where we are seeing the comic a bit different, don't think the comic is telling us not to worry about racism/sexism or deny they exist, but to look beyond race/gender and just to treat everyone the way they deserve to be treated. To me is talking in a person to person basis. Many times the race/gender card is taken out so easily, even when it doesn't have anything to do and just weakens our fight for equality.
I understand what you mean but I honestly believe that the context of normative attitudes on a broad scale completely determines and affects how we treat each other on a person-person basis. I don’t mean that we should call white men worthless or stupid to get equality or anything. I mean that even if I did, it wouldn’t matter because it wouldn’t change how I am positioned in this society to only be half as good as them. Similarly, if I treated them kindly and with respect, they may treat me kindly while also upholding their racist/sexist values. Treating someone with respect only ensures that they’re not going to beat your ass on the street. It doesn’t ensure that they’re going to see you as a human being.
If a person of privilege is genuinely trying to become an ally to someone without that privilege, then they shouldn’t put their feelings above the oppression of whomever they’re trying to help.
Also, the comic literally says, we should “stop worrying about whether something is racist or sexist” which is completely backwards. We need to worry about both whether it is unkind and the reason why it is unkind. The erasure of the reason won’t solve anything. We should always treat everyone as they deserve to be treated, I agree. But the thing is, a racist and sexist society will always tell its people that People of Color and women, respectively, deserve to be treated worse. If we ignored racism and sexism, this attitude would never change.

michyfett replied to your post: I want to kill myself. Why do my friends always...
As someone who goes through the same I can tell you is probably not you, it’s them. You are convenient to them and that’s why they dispose of you so easily. A lot of people suck, find friends who appreciate you, you deserve better.
the thing is i thought this was someone who actually liked me because growing up they always tried to be my friend and we never got close and then when we did i told them everything there was to know about me and then slowly she just started leaving me for other people which i didn't mind until ii started being ignored months ago and i just said something today and its so awful i cant handle it
