Mickey Martin (1920) is yet another guy named Mickey who appeared in a film with Virginia Weidler. That's at least three. Mickey was in the business steadily from 1935 to 1958 and then made a final appearance as a bellboy in THE GNOME MOBILE in 1967. He played boys, newsboys, schoolboys, and tough boys when he was a boy. He played bellboys, messenger boys, delivery boys, page boys, elevator boys, jockeys, and copyboys as an adult. He was still cast as a teenager at age thirty. He played Oscar the elevator boy in I'LL WAIT FOR YOU (1941) and a page boy in THIS TIME FOR KEEPS (1942). For those interested, he was also a cheerleader in CYNTHIA and a whistling delivery boy in A KISS FOR CORLISS. In the photo Mickey is operating the elevator for Robert Sterling and Patricia Dane in IWFY.
