to say that hazel’s had terrible luck when it comes to talking to people recently would be somewhat of an understatement. a few too many friends of hers have caused a little bit of drama in her already chaotic life, and she’s fairly certain that right now, the only things keeping her somewhat sane are the dates with a certain little someone she’s been seeing recently, and her solid friendships that haven’t yet ended in disaster. however, when someone hurts her friends, hazel’s too loyal not to get involved, even if said person doing the hurting is a friend, too. still, she only deems it fair to give mickey a chance to give his side of the story, having learnt recently that hearing things from both ends is rather important ( shoutout to hazel’s half sister for bringing that one to light ) so she isn’t going to march over to mickey’s and demand answers. he is still her friend, at the end of the day, and a good one at that. knocking on his door, hazel can’t help but call through it. “mick ! you in ? it’s hazel ! you ever been jet skiing ?!”
