powerQUBE is an important reference point for our proposals to build an anaerobic digester as part of the initiative to establish the R-Urban Wick Re-Use Centre in Hackney Wick, east London. PowerQUBEs are designed to make use of standard shipping containers, adressing a number of concerns like security and protection from the weather for monitoring equipment, and mobility of the facility.
From their website:
powerQUBE design and build micro anaerobic digesters that can be used to process a wide variety of biodegradable wastes, feedstocks and under utilised resources in to biogas. This biogas can be used for heating, cooking and transport or in small scale combined heat and power plants.
