Spinmaster toys brings y'all Harry Potter Micro Magical Moments: Year 1
It's been a hot second since these released, but tumblr doesn't like the file size for my full list so we're breaking it down.
These are small and come in stackable display cases already, which is great for keeping dust off of teeny tiny figures and locking your display in place.
While they do have different weights, because the shape of each figure is it's own unique mold, they are also numbered which makes collecting these infinitely easier.
Each case comes with 18 boxes and for the first series there were 15 characters to collect. The series going forward only have 12 characters to collect. On the back of the box is the main item number [20142] and then the last 3 numbers dictate which figure it is. For series 1 the codes range from 899 - 913.
899 - Dumbledore
900 - Dudley eating Harry's cake [piggy tail]
901 - Hagrid with Harry's Cake
902 - Harry in the cloak of invisibility
903 - Ron in his school uniforms
904 - Hedwig on the baggage trolley
905 - Hermione in the sorting hat
906 - Hermione nailing Wingardium Leviosa
907 - Harry in front of the Mirror of Erised
908 - Harry catching the Golden Snitch
909 - Nearly Headless Nick
910 - Neville in the full body bind while in his jammers
911 - Professor Quirrell with Voldemort's reflection
912 - Seamus exploding his quill[?]
913 - Professor Snape in the potion room
Then they released 3 multi-figure displays, not blind box.
The first was Harry getting his letter, Dudley angry with his gifts, and Hagrid [again] with the cake
The second was Hedwig on the trolley while Ron and Harry ate sweets
The last was a 4-figure pack, Harry and Hermione grungy from the fight, Ron on the chess piece, and sleeping Fluffy [so cute].
I think the cost of these was ok, 5 dollar for a blind box figure, and while the figure was incredibly small [hence the MICRO in the name] you also got a display case with it, which made up for the cost. If it was that huge box for just the figure on a little stand it would not be worth it.
The blind boxes from serries 1-4 used to be around 3.97 at Walmart and Meijer, with the larger boxes being 9.99 - 12.99 because of the multiple figures. Now the blind boxes have gone up to 4.99 at Meijer at least.
I like that they're so small and don't take up a whole lot of space, that's honestly way better if there's 7 years of these to collect.
