I'm going to be honest, something accurate was given out. That beach is telling us it is just a gravel Mediterranean coast, or similar. Taking out the fog and the colourless filter on, the beach structure is correct and could have been filmed on mediterranean territories because of how steep the beach, actually is. And this is a great way of sharing some beach knowledge.
This steepness only happens at Summer at microtidal beaches (areas where the tides are infimal as here) when the weather is so nice there's not enough waves to disgragate the sand so it starts piling up as a dune. This structure is called a berm and is just sand or gravel piled up.
The fairweather berm is the point where the highest waves reach
the sandier the place the gentler the slope (image above) and the more rocky, the stepper (Nolan's) because you need more energy to move rocks instead of sand. So Zendaya and Dammon's beach is accurate for this part and is funnily enough a not much disturbed beach area because beaches such as Malvarosa at Valencia are regenerated coasts, when the beach is too wide it means is of regeneration.
I am missing Posidonia oceanica deposits at this image too but they do stink so i more or less understand why is not there.
Hope you've learned something interesting and my inbox is open for all questions and queries you may want me to answer hehehe
