But the idea that osha would have felt satisfaction murdering sol if he fought back is so wrong because she should feel bad about it anyway. And murder has never been satisfactory for anyone remotely good in star wars ever. Like anakin feels bad and knows he did something he shouldnt after murdering the tuscen people. Its either that or murder to survive. So unless osha is allready at this point really evil its just out of place.
yeah i don't understand their reasoning at all. i get that people think that killing someone in revenge would be satisfactory -- same way people think that hurting someone who hurt them would make them feel better -- but that is only before they commit the act, or in the moment as they do it. and then the aftermath hits that revenge doesn't fix anything, and the realization dawns on the killer that they've just done something terrible. or the audience recognizes that killing is bad and the villainy of the killer is further driven home when they have absolutely no remorse. not that the audience thinks that the victim not allowing the killer satisfaction is somehow taking away the killer's agency- !
