It was the first time she was bringing anyone home. Scratch that, it was the first time she was bringing a girl home, and she was terrified. Terrified because she had a four year old daughter at home with her mother waiting for her to get home from their date, and she just forgot to mention to both the girl she was with and her daughter that they existed. Not that her daughter would know what’s wrong, she could just say that Anna was her friend.

Either way, she knew she was screwed in one way or another, and she took a deep breath as she linked her hand with Anna’s and walked up the front walk, unlocking her door with her free hand and slipping off her shoes.

“MAMA! ¡Es a casa!” a little blonde girl came running to her, and slammed into her legs, causing Alex to smile and pick her up, trying to avoid eye contact with Anna for the time being. “¿Adónde fuiste?” The girl turned to face Anna. “¿Quién eres? ¿Qué haces aquí?”

Though Ariel has been FORTUNATE enough to visit several wonderful new places since becoming human a little under a year ago, from the exotic desert landscape of Agrabah to the lush kingdom of Corona, Arendelle is shaping up to be her FAVORITE destination yet. This belief solidifies itself the moment she catches wind of the irresistible scent of CHOCOLATE wafting up the street, and she immediately forgets everything and lurches away from Eric. The former mermaid sprints towards the source of the delicacy as fast as her legs will carry her, nearly taking out several pedestrians in the process, whipping her head around several times to mutter apologies.

A few moments later, she finds herself in front of what can only be described as A CHOCOLATE SHOP. It is three times the size of her bedroom at the castle in Denmark, and inside, tables upon tables are piled high with EVERY SINGLE KIND of chocolate imaginable. Cerulean hues sparkle with delight as Ariel approaches the first table, unaware of a young woman about her age with strawberry-blonde hair standing beside it.

“OH MY GOSH, I’ve never seen this much chocolate in my entire life!”

Alex bit her tongue to stop herself from replying, instead letting out a small grunt and turning herself over and snuggling further into her pillow. She really didn’t want to wake up, it was too early. And it was the one day she loathed the most, and she really didn’t want to get out of her bed.
