What’s his favourite animal?
How does he feel about rats? Since he was a rancher I feel like he’d find them a bit of a nuisance.
How much does he like Aunt Mary?
Does he have any regrets about going to stay around for the old man?
What’s his favourite childhood memory?
Does he have a dream home?
Does he want a partner at any point? Gf or bf? Or is he unbothered by the thought of staying single?
That’s all I got for now! I love the story so far :D
Thank you for the questions!
1. Cassidy, as a cattle rancher, obviously has a deep love for the cattle that roam his fields. He's also a big fan of cats and his bearded dragon, Sunny D. He also does have some love for the stallion he rides when out ranching. Although he doesn't really consider Rattlesnake his horse, he still loves the large fellow.
2. He doesn't mind rats and mice too much when it comes to being outside of his barnyard. He actually thinks they're quite cute. But when it comes to making nests in his hay and chewing his barn's electrical cables, he couldn't despise the rodents more. They cost him a whole lot of money!
3. Cassidy surely does love his Auntie Mary. Being one of his remaining immediate family to still be living, Cassidy wishes he was closer with his aunt. When Cassidy was younger, he and Auntie Mary used to be as thick as thieves. That all changed when Auntie Mary went to Wisconsin to chase her so-called "dream husband." He hopes this whole endeavor will bring them close again.
4. His biggest regret was having to leave his ranch behind. Cassidy had spent his entire up bringing dreaming and working to get a ranch. It hurt him deeply to have to hand it off to a friend. Although he may miss it, Cassidy would do it over again if it meant spending time with his beloved Papa.
5. Papa Florence used to be a farmer. A quite popular one at that. Back when Cassidy was a wee little lad, his mama would take him to Papa Florence's farm every weekend. Cassidy would spend the day helping around the farm. He'd sprinkle the chicken feed early in the morning, rake the scattered hay into large piles, and would help sheer the sheep during the warmer months. It wasn't until he was around 11 years old that Papa Florence let him help out with the cattle. And my, were they gorgeous. Papa Florence owned all types of cows. Large brown ones, the dappled black and white ones, and even a few of the fluffy ones. Cassidy would learn each breed of cow later in life, but for now, he could only recognize their looks. Papa Florence allowed him to help milk the cows and care for the calves. Cassidy loved it. That's where his love of cattle came from.
6. A log cabin. Cassidy has never been one for those fancy futuristic homes. A nice little rustic cottage is all Cassidy needs to be happy.
7. Cassidy has always been somewhat of a flirt, especially in his teen years. He had a few flings growing up, but they never lasted more than a few weeks. Cassidy had always been too focused on achieving his dreams than to focus on something as silly as "young love". Though, now that he has settled down, Cassidy has begun to consider the idea of love, and maybe even starting a family. Maybe Wisconsin could bring him a fresh new start. A certain new pal certainly seems to be helping with that idea.
im glad you like the story!! thank you once again for the questions!
