I fell in love with someone I thought I knew. I thought I knew everything about them; how they think.. why they do the things they do. I thought that I had it all figured out. I thought I knew that this time was different.. that maybe I would finally be happy. I constantly ask myself.. I’m sitting here with everything I could ever ask for but yet I’m wasting my time on someone who has consistently proven they never really cared. I’ve always been broken even though on the outside I seem happy and successful. I’m tired of being forgotten about. I’m tired of being ignored and taken advantage of.
So here’s to my attempt to glue the pieces back together once again. Hopefully this time I’ll find my happiness.
