hi i hope this isn't weird but I read your tags on the seven gifset you reblogged and i felt the same when watching the episode. like, one part of me was so excited because i like seven so much but at the same time i was like "okay but what does that mean it makes me nervous " also i feel like annika is like a deadname idk why they still use it. uff so i wonder what the last episodes have in store for us and yeah i kinda root for the borg now. :)

Not weird at all! 💕 Yeah, I loved it because it was very badass but at the same time, it must be quite traumatic for her, so I then end up feeling a bit bad that I enjoyed it as much as I did. 😅 I just really hope the writers don’t do anything too extreme with her by the end of the series... I can take her controlling the collective for a moment, but it’s not something I’d want her to permanently be by any means.

It’s definitely a deadname imo. I’ve always felt like using her birth name erases what she’s been through and ultimately, who she’s become. The only way I rationalize Bjayzl using it is that maybe she thought it would get under her skin a bit? Idk. It just bothers me.
