thor: what’s your favorite weather? It’s actually rainy or semi warm i like when it’s raining and you can sit inside and watch through your window and wear sweaters, but i also like sunny because you can actually sit outside and bask you know?

in regards to TWS, I firmly believed that everyone involved with HYDRA and the maintenance & care (if you want to call it “care”) of the Winter Soldier knew exactly who he was. 

No one who knew anything about Captain America or spent a lot of time with Steve didn’t know about his stories, about growing up in 1930s Brooklyn and the antics he and the Howling Commandos used to get into in the war. As well, no one who worked directly with the Soldier wouldn’t have read his files, knowing exactly where he came from and how they made him. Hell, Pierce’s father had served in the 101st - there’s not a chance he hadn’t at least heard of the tales of Captain America and his sidekick Bucky (sidenote, Bucky HATED being labeled as Steve’s sidekick, but at least Steve was getting the attention he deserved). Pierce, Rumlow, everyone who spoke to Steve, knowing they had his best friend frozen in a vault somewhere said nothing about it. I wasn’t sure they were going to address that, but from Rumlow’s taunting in the Civil War teaser, looks like they did! That’s just something that I think about often, anyways.
