Logging onto a roleplay is supposed to be fun, a release from the day's stresses. Lately, for me, logging onto the londoners/midnight main has been nothing but stressful, having to pull plots, deal with deactivations or people leaving us and watching a painfully inactive dash and knowing there was very little outside of making my characters talk to one another that I could do to fix it on my own. It makes me feel like the work I put into this roleplay and into these sub plots is being taken for granted.
I made a post last week, warning you all against inactivity we've all been noticing. I had hoped that it would put the fear of closure in all your hearts and spur some activity improvements. However, the response was lackluster at best with people dropping left and right and I've been in a bad mood ever since.
Activity is NOT logging on for a few minutes, responding to things, and then disappearing. You all put it in your apps that you're available for a few hours a day, so this kind of a dash is unacceptable. It is with a heavy heart, therefore, that I will be closing down londoners. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this experience and thank you to everyone who remained active until the end. Maybe, someday, londoners will come back with a bang but, for now, 4 months is a decent run for a roleplay; I've done all that I can.
Message the main or Bentley if you'd like my AIM or other contact info. Otherwise, thanks again for being apart of my roleplay and I hope to see you all around soon. Also a special shoutout to the sweet rphs who fielded anons with this URL; I never sent any out but your positive response was the only reason I kept trying. Thanks again, all.
