Midorimais such a tsundere, so relationship with him would be so interesting! I can imagine him being more on the reserved side, even a little bit closed off at the beginning.

A relationship with him is bound to be as straightforward and honest as it could be. From him, but he also expects it back. He is mature enough to known what and how to say something-- withouth sugar coating it.

This guy is obsessed with astrology, you cannot tell me he won’t be obsessed with any other divination tool. Especially if his s/o reads tarot cards or is into witchcraft, he would be a bit conscious at first- but would immediately immerse into this world too. Asking for a tarot reading on the game/ himself. Or a good luck charm he can carry with himself.

Definitely the type to check his and your horoscope compatibility. If there’s anything to compare, he will. Blood type? Done. Whole astrology chart? Done. Life path number? Done. He doesn’t necessarily follow it to a T, meaning that he might consults the results, but ultimately he will make the choice by what feels right. But the results will heavily taken into consideration.

On the note of astrology/divination, if his s/o doesn’t believe in it, that’s fine. I think he could get past it. But if his s/o is purposely rude about it, he won’t be able to be around you, much less date you. To have a partner who bluntly hates it or pulls the “science card” out 24/7 will be such a turn off for him.

He would pay attention to the little things. Your little habits. The brand of tea you prefer, the type of fabric material you prefer for your clothing. In case you have a period, he would be able to tell if your period is around the corner by picking up your body language— just like he can pick up if you’re sad or happy.

Now, does that mean he would be the best at comforting? Not necessarily. Emotionally wise, words wise, he is a bit stiff. He would assess the situation, create a A to Z plan in his head but ultimately he would end up just sitting close to you, maybe give some light caresses on your back. Silently singling you “I’m here, talk to me if you want. I’m listening.”

He might not be a great talker, but *he cares*. And he tries to show that by actions and gestures mostly. And quality time too for sure.

His type is older women. I don’t think it’s much about appearance, it’s more about mental attraction. He is undoubtedly one of the most “grown up” character of the show. He acts and talk extremely maturely for someone of his age. However, he still has a lot of growth to do emotionally wise.

An older partner will offer him that stability, mental and emotional stability, he is looking for.

He wants someone independent like he is. Yet someone that’s comfortable enough in their skin to know when it’s time to drop the wall and be close.

If there’s one thing he loves is learning. Not necessarily in the traditional sense, but learning also through actions and experiences in order to level himself up. So, like I said, a partner who’s 1/2 years older already, and has a different perspective on life than him, would be a great match. Someone that’s comfortable enough travel a lot even, maybe even a foreigner I’m thinking (?). Offering him a complete different approach to life.

He is not into PDA, but at home it’s a different story. His love is subtle but loud enough that if anyone is paying attention they will notice. From the stolen glances in public, to his pupils slightly enlarging when he sees you, his cheeks dusting lightly with pink when you caught him staring or you two exchanged a quick peck or cheek kiss before you leave.

Or it’s the way he is so attentive to your needs. It’s the way he knows your favourite colour, your favourite season, food and anything there’s to know. The way he would pay attention when you go on a walk and you stop in front of a window browsing.

The way he sees more relax around you, less stressed in a way, and more in the moment. It’s the way, he subconsciously, reaches out to you interlocking your pinkies together. Or the way his body moves closer when in a crowded room/space.

The way he seeks contact without realising. It’s the way his whole face lights up when you enter the room, because you’re the light and he is the shadow (pun intended). Guiding each other through the uncertainty of life.

Pairing: Midorima Shintaro x You (Fem Reader) featuring Takao being himself as usual. Warnings: As usual, curse words but fluff otherwise.

You let out a frustrated scream when your opponent yelled the cursed word that you loved yelling out but absolutely DESPISED hearing from other people. "UNO!!" Takao cheered, slamming his last card down on the table and putting more salt and squeezing lemon in the wound, his last card was a +4. Your frown deepened with every holler and laugh that came out of the ravenette's mouth as you tightly held onto your 5 remaining cards, and slammed your fist down. "AGAIN!" You said, glaring daggers at Takao who was still laughing. "Again what?" Takao asked, reducing to a fit of giggles. "Oh...You mean another round?" You seethed, "We're gonna keep playing TILL I WIN," The point guard raised his index finger and waved it in a disapproving manner, all with that stupid grin on his face. "Ah, no. We had a deal. If I lose, I'll be buying you a pink floaty for the class outing next month. But if YOU lose? Ohoho, my condition CLEARLY stated that you, my dear name will be confessing to Shin-chan." You hate to admit it, but you can't back out now. A deal IS a deal after all. But since you were prideful, you were willing to be a sore loser just to save every bit of dignity that you have.

"Goddamn you, Takao." "Ah no. Have you seen my face? God blessed me is what it is." "This is called peer pressure..." You whispered, face now burning up. The sound of the door sliding open with a slam caught both of your attention as you turned to see Midorima Shintaro himself. He walked towards the table you two are sitting at while carrying his lucky item for the day, a wonder woman figurine. You winced at the quality of the figurine. Not that it was bad, oh no... It was the exact opposite. The quality was so good you felt severe discomfort watching him lug it around with one hand around such rowdy people. It was probably made of clay too. You shook your thoughts away, "Hey, Shin-chan!! Guess what?" "Come on. Coach is gonna have both our heads on a stick if we delay any longer." The green-haired boy barely paid any attention to you, only focused on making it to practice. In a way, you were kinda glad. This way, you were able to admire him. You always thought he was pretty. Yet he was so unaware of it and when somebody points it out, he brushes it off. Yet if you look more closely, you'd be able to see a faint tint of rose on his cheeks.

"And stop bothering name," He added, looking over to you making you flinch as your eyes met his emerald ones. "Ah well..." You couldn't really deny it. Takao was such a pain in the ass today. You averted your eyes as Takao was dragged off his chair by Midorima, seemingly in a hurry. "Bye...? I guess," You said, waving to them. "YOU'RE NOT OFF THE HOOK YET, NAME!!" You let out a puff of breath that you were unaware of holding back, relief spreading through your body. You knew you were only delaying but later is better than now, or so you say. You know Takao would never rat you out, he's not that kind of person. But he would hold you to that promise.

"What the hell did I get myself into...?"

Unbeknownst to you, Takao also played with Midorima. Not basketball, or uno. He played Monopoly with him and if you ask him, nothing's sweeter than seeing the absolute look of defeat on Midorima's usually stoic face. They also had a bet that if Takao lost, he would be lugging Midorima around for a month (They usually play rock, paper, scissors) and if Takao won? You can probably guess. "So, when are you gonna do it? I mean name is a pretty girl, a lot of people fancy her."

If Midorima would be asked, "where would you rather be right now?" He would answer, "Anywhere. As long as it's away from Takao and his loud mouth".

"Come on, Shin-chan. You look like you wanna leave me hanging here." Takao teased, slapping his back. "Shut your mouth, Takao. That's precisely what I want to do." "So mean!"

You find yourself at the mall, 3 days later. You invited the two of them to help you shop for clothes but... "Sorry name- ACHOO" You winced, "Come on... Are you really leaving me with him...?"

"Am I so bad of a company that you don't want to be left alone with me?" Another voice joined from behind you,

You whipped around to see Midorima and if you look closer, you could see the dejected look on his face. Your eyes widened before you waved your free hand around, "No! That's not what I meant... I mean...Takao, he..."

You could hear the point guard grin on the other side of the line, mentally glaring daggers at him. "ILOSTABETTOHIMNOWIHAVETOCONFESSMYFEELINGSTOYOUBUTI'MDELAYINGCUZI'MSCAREDYOUDON'TFEELTHESAME" You spit it all out, squinting your eyes shut as you felt all the heat rush up to your face. Oh, now you've done it. There's no turning back now... Now you know, that Takao planned all of this.

"Fuck you, Takao" You seethed, turning away from Midorima, who was still frozen in place with his face as rosy as Barbie's dreamhouse..

You ended the call as you two stood there awkwardly, your back still facing him whilst he looked at you, trying to contemplate his next move. He pushed his glasses up before he walked up to you, "Change of plans," He announced, making you look up to him. "What do you say about going on a date?" "Midorima, what do you mean?" He looked back at you, a small smile playing on his lips, "I'm asking you out." Your surprised expression turned into your lips upward, "I say, yes."

and u see kise and aomine there

huh are they the only ones there?

Akashi Seijuro the very person whom everyone looks up to including his own teammates who has an overwhelming power that can make other people obey almost instantly

Yn Ln a student of Rakuzan who had caught some attention due to her elegance

Most people even thought she was wealthy just like any other students in Rakuzan but she wasn't in fact it's thanks to her intelligence.

Akashi didn't bat an eye on her for the first few days until they were both assigned as Class Representatives despite him being a student council president.

It was the first time they talked and nothing much happened between the two except for discussing things about the current event that will happened 2 months from then on.

Since their schedule didn't match due to Akashi's basketball practice and student council meeting

After a few days of thinking they decided to spend their days together from breaks to lunch they are mostly seen around with each other just to discuss some things as class representatives

It made some students of both Yn's admirers along with Akashi's to wonder if there was something going on between the two of them

Eventually the two of you ended up becoming friends it maybe because of the fame you both share and the effect of being class representatives

It went on and on like that for the two of them for weeks until Yn founds herself helping out the basketball club

The basketball team immediately fell for her kindness

Even Hayama thought of asking her out but didn't continued on doing it since Akashi was watching him the whole time that he got uncomfortable

Mibuchi did find it interesting that Akashi suddenly got close to someone let alone to a girl

Just like that some weeks passed and Akashi was a little suspicious since every day Yn had to excuse herself at lunch and in the afternoon for at least 15 minutes or so just to take the phone

Akashi thought it was a family matter at first but after seeing some items she brings everyday he knew there was something

Although Akashi would never say it out loud he felt betrayed he thought he felt something for her and thought every second of spending time with her to be special

And when the festival came he had confirmed all of his suspicions

Never did he thought he would felt hurt by it when he knew something was up

Midorima Shintarou was the one who never would have thought be his rival for something such as this

All the items that Yn had brought to school was her lucky item for each day and the calls she takes was scheduled since they are on different schools.

Midorima on the other hand knew all of it especially since Yn had been mentioning Akashi's name every time they managed to get in touch but despite that he did not bother on saying anything.

On their weekends together too

Akashi was ready to challenge Midorima from that day on but after seeing how much you smiled just being with Midorima wavered him

Akashi had never saw you that happy around him even his other self has lost some of his self-inferiority.

The day passed by just like that and Midorima at the end of the day confronted Akashi.

Midorima didn't told Akashi to stay away from Yn but to maintain a distance

And surprisingly Akashi agreed probably because his thoughts haunted him

His thoughts are about his regret from Teiko which had changed everyone

But right now he does like Yn even if he didn't want to admit it

For the first time in his life he felt relieved to talk to someone who doesn't care for his power nor fame

Just like that the festival ended

Akashi could have used his power for that but decided not to since he respects Midorima

And ofcourse he wanted to see Yn happy even if it meant just being one of your friends.

in honor of this dork’s birthday today! here are some headcanons bc i love him

he has a separate room in his house just for lucky items

doesn’t know how to compliment people

“takao....your title as hawk eye could be deemed as...suitable, regarding your skills...” “shin-chan. what does that even mean???”

he also doesn’t understand sarcasm but it’s endearing if not a little annoying

brings sunglasses to movie theaters in case the movie is sad and he doesn’t want other people to see him cry

totally gets his nails done on the weekends like,,,,come on all the evidence is there it’s clear he loves manicures

big science nerd

he gave lucky rolling pencils to all the shuutoku third years before their college entrance exams and miyaji maybe cried a little

 (midorima purposely didn’t give one to takao because he’s petty like that)

after all the winter cup stuff went down midorima started playing shogi with Akashi again and he did actual legitimate research on shogi and playing techniques because damn it he refuses to keep on losing like this

the REAL reason he tapes his fingers is to avoid the dreaded pencil smudge that left-handed people get from writing #thestruggleisreal

probably likes birds a lot (he thinks they’re majestic or something)

Midorima Shintarou Headcanons that no one asked for!

Because I’m bored… (I’ll say sorry for that already) (Does it count as slightly nswf? If yes beware) - little perv (I swear) - as straight as a circle (sorry not sorry) - probably the kinkiest of them all - his left fingers are sensitive af - Bottom or top he’s submissive even if he doesn’t like losing control (I guilty love Submissive Mido-chin) - He can get reeeaaaalllllyyy jealous, even if not showing and gets all possessive (Yes I am also guilty in love with possessive Mido-chin) - Shows affections more through actions than words - DIRTY TALK (in receiving and giving)

and a last one: Midorima, our Tsundere, finds himself falling in love with someone who's a lot like Takao, teasing, loud, bubbly maybe? Could he deal with that or would he just combust?

｡𖦹°‧ Midorima falling for someone like Takao

Midorima, my favourite tsundere. Stoic and serious, yet underneath it all, he is loyal and caring. Just in his own way. Takao, on the other hand, is more outgoing and playful, often making fun of Midorima's personality, particularly his obsession with superstition and his cold demeanor. We see Midorima being annoyed at Takao’s more lively nature, but, despite their differences they share a solid friendship and mutual respect.

So, i don’t think it would be too strange to see Midorima dating someone of Takao’s nature, despite a clear contrasting dynamic i think it could work 

At first, Midorima might find it difficult to deal with someone like Takao in a romantic context. A partner who’s playful teasing, energetic and with a lack of a serious demeanor could initially overwhelm him. Given how he is prone to irritation when his peace is disrupted (like with Takao’s antics), it’s possible that he could get annoyed at first. So, we might be seeing frenemies to lovers kinda romance here. 

However, over time, Midorima would likely start to soften when, and if, his partner would show genuine care for him despite their differences. I feel, someone who despite being loud and bubbly, is able to understand when to take a step back and give him space or to cut off the teasing would immediately gain points in his eyes.

Imagine teasing, seeing him getting all red because he wasn’t expecting you to say what you did (especially if you said something not so pg clean) and becoming so flustered to the point of being speechless? Yes indeed. HOWEVER, over time it could backfire on you. Once he is comfortable enough, he could flirt back for the first time and you're the one who’s speechless this time around. While he leaves the room smugly proud of himself

Overall, a relationship with him could work if you’re bubbly, outgoing and loud only if there is clear communication, respect each other’s boundaries and balancing each other’s emotions. Midorima will appreciate his quiet moments, but would come to value fun, energy and spontaneity even as the relationship becomes more serious between the two parties. 

He would slowly adjust and, with time, likely soften in the relationship. His partner's energy and playfulness could help him open up more emotionally. And honestly? It would be such a cute relationship
