lol midoushoujo tryn to defend cisswaps :-) cisswaps are disgusting and transphobic, they enforce gender roles as well as the gender binary and erase trans people as a whole by saying that genitalia=presentation=gender identity. its not “changing their gender and physical appearance to explore them in different ways” because what are you exploring? their personality should not change with their gender or presentation because that notion is transphobic. if you are exploring gender, make them trans, since not only is it a better way to explore gender and how that character interacts with gender in general but it is *gasp* not transphobic, as well as being more interesting because it opens up options besides the societally-enforced gender binary and gender roles. cisswaps cannot actually explore character and gender without being transphobic. cisswaps are not character exploration.

midoushoujo, as someone who is cisgender, you cannot decide what is and is not transphobic. if a trans person tells you what you are doing is transphobic you must listen to them. if you continue doing something youve been told is not okay, or defend your actions in any way, you are being deliberately transphobic whether you like it or not.
