I’ve been feeling disheartened lately when it comes to Instagram. I hate to compare myself to others, but it’s impossible not to see these other accounts growing and wonder why mine feels so stagnant. It’s impossible not to look at someone’s account and think, “why do they have this many followers and I don’t? What am I doing wrong?” And I know that growth is not the goal. But I want to help as many people as possible, and that means reaching as many people as possible. But then I step back and remind myself that we all have different paths. Those people whose accounts I’m looking at have worked their asses off too. Maybe they’re doing more than I am behind the scenes. Or maybe they just got lucky. It’s impossible to know. What I do know is that, at the end of the day, whether I help 5 people or 5000 people, I’m making a difference. Hello! I have returned after semi-accidentally taking the weekend off. I had the nicest, most chilled weekend though, and I seriously needed it. Lots of laying in bed, watching movies and TV, snacking, and playing video games. We ended up buying the new Tomb Raider game and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, so now we’re a bit addicted to video games again.
