Yet another Legacy Challenge, wow Miyu, you've really outdone yourself now huh?
Anyway.. Welcome back! I've been in retirement for quite a while, but I'm back now to give a (hopefully) more thought out legacy challenge that I will do my absolute best to see through to the very end.
Be prepared, this is going to be a long post, but to summarize this challenge: It's going to be inspired by my favourite holiday from my home country, Swedish Midsummer! It's going to span a few generations, so under the cut you will find more information about the rules, generations, themes, etc. Thank you in advance for giving me the time!
Before We Start ♡
Below I will be listing a few things to keep in mind while doing the challenge.
1. No Need to Stick to Theme!
If you feel like you like the rules but not the theme, feel free to change it! There's no need to make all the sims floral, or.. frog shaped.... Just go nuts!
2. Changes to Rules
If a rule stresses you out, don't feel ashamed to change it. I admit I ignore some of my own rules whenever I'm having off days, no shame in it.
3. Mods
You may mod the game as much as you want! Just make sure you're not cheating any milestones, fears, skills, moodlets, needs, aspirations, or anything that might take away from the challenge! (Change if necessary)
The General Rules ♡
These will be the rules for all the Generations!
1. Travel Fee
For every world you visit you must pay 50 Simoleons, this excludes; Active Careers, Active School (be it through mods or via HSY Pack), or neighbourhoods in the world you currently live in.
The Travel Fee includes Festivals. Pay up
2. Moving Lots
You may not move out from the lot you chose at the start.
3. What happens, happens
If you accidentally burn your house down and don't have a fire alarm, do not restart the game! Keep playing, see it as a more interesting challenge or a great option for storytelling!
4. Traits
Randomize all traits! Including your Founder!
5. Start with 0 Simoleons!
6. Lifespans
I prefer if you play this on Normal Lifespans, but it is ultimately up to you!
Generation One ♡ Flowers in Bloom
