Dusk-to-Dawn Horrorfest
Just wanted to share some stuff from my time last night at the horror movie marathon that took place at the awesome Midway Drive-In.
If you’re wondering the last movie was Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers.
...We didn’t stay for that one. lol
Nice, big screen. We managed to get a great spot in the center of the third row.
They had different vendors there as well as this stand with screen-used props from different movies. The third prop on the right (with the sunken face) is actually from one of the movies we watched, the 1988 remake of The Blob.
Also, they had one of Svengoolie’s rubber chickens. lol
More props including the Gingerbread Man from those goofy ass z-movies made by Full Moon, the same company that makes the Puppet Master movies.
Sunset approaches and the temperature begins to drop into the fifties. Apologies for the next few pics, my phone sucks at taking night-time pictures.
One of the ‘let’s all go to the lobby’ shorts they played during each intermission.
Finally after a near fourty-minute delay the actual movie started.
Fuck yeah.
I have a few more pics but I’m exhausted. We ended up leaving before the third movie due to the initial delay and our grogginess. lol
