🌙 Midweek Reflection: “The House Still Remembers”

The house still remembers her.

The corner where the sun used to find her. The spot on the couch that feels warmer in memory. The bowl that sits a little too still now.

I don’t reach for her food anymore, but I still step over shadows like she’s underfoot.

It’s strange, this space between the living and the remembering. It doesn’t ache the same way it did a few days ago— but it still pulls.

Like a loose thread I can’t stop touching.
