Midwest Express was a success!

One month, 11 states + Ontario, Canada. Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, & Colorado.

I’m so lucky to have fantastic friends from different stages of my life in every single place I visited. I truly got a taste of the Heartland 💗

Though, backpacking in America ain’t easy or cheap. I had more delays than any other country I’ve been to that uses timetables (countries that don’t use them are a whole other story). Flying Frontier was also a mistake. It took two days to get home from Kansas City, but I got an impromptu trip to Denver...
