Russian MiG-29 Crashes Near School Outside Moscow
A Russian dual-seat MiG-29KUB fighter jet crashed during a routine test flight outside Moscow today. The crash site has been pointed out as a residential area near a village school. Both pilots ejected to save their lives. However, were taken to to hospital due to injuries.
The plane was returning to the Flight Testing Institute’s airbase in Ramenskoye when this incident happened.

Evolution of the MiG-29KUB Fulcrum D - Carrier Operations Trainer
The trainer version of the MiG-29K initially was planned to have two separate, stepped cockpits, as shown in the top line drawing. Eventually, the design was refined, looking much more like the MiG-29UB land-based trainer variant. The MiG-29KUB is currently in service with both the Russian and Indian Navies.
