Mighty Max
Created by Mark Zaslove and Rob Hudnut, Mighty Max is an animated action series based on the British toy-line of the same name. The show introduces young Max, an adventurous teenage boy who discovers that he has been chosen by the fates to act as ‘The Mighty One’ and defend the earth against an ancient evil. His power totem manifests in the form of a red baseball cap that enables Max to project wormhole-like ‘portals’ through which he can teleport across space and time.
Teaming up with an immortal Viking bodyguard and an omniscient chicken heralding from ancient Lemuria, Max battles the villainous Skullmaster and his horde of Lavamen minions along with various other monstrous threats. The trio’s journeys through history acts as an educational component for the show.
Actor Rob Paulsen provided the voice for Mighty Max. The series premiered in September of 1993 on the BBC and was later rebroadcast in the United States.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Tony Jay
Happy Birthday in Heaven to Tony Jay who would have turned 93years old today.
With his distinctive deep baritone voice, Tony Jay was best known for playing villainous roles on both tv and in films though he did also play no-villainous roles as well.
Among his best-known villain roles are Judge Claude Frollo from Disney's ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame'' and Shere Khan in ''TaleSpin and The Jungle Book 2''.
Despite his corner on playing evil characters, Tony Jay was kind- and warm-hearted individual who was a delight to work with as his fellow actors and castmates.
