Cyr was worried about the prince. All day he'd hardly left his room, as though he were waiting for something. He moved around a bit, picking up books from his bookshelf and bringing them back to his bed, playing aimlessly with his pup every now and again -- but otherwise he was quiet. This was the most worrying aspect, because the young prince was a ball of energy, from the moment he woke up til he finally wore himself out.
He was considering going to fetch the King, or perhaps even Nieander at the very least, in hopes they could coax him into brighter behavior. He was stirred from his thoughts by a sharp rap at the door, furrowing his brows as he wondered why the other guards hadn't tended to whomever the visitor was.
He hadn't time to ponder it for much longer, because the moment he opened the door, he was hit on the head with the pommel of a sword, knocking him unconscious.
The commotion made Andres jump, and he watched with wide eyes as his protector fell limp to the ground. From under the duvet, his little puppy started to growl. Andres, however could not look up -- he remained frozen on his bed, eyes firmly planted on Cyr as though he would wake up if he stared at him long enough.
