When you start turning potatoes purple that's how you know you need to sleep. Coffee can only keep you going for so long.

Do you need to set up an appointment? Need to find your missing bow, maybe? I do so need a case, even one as simple as that.
Zero To Soulmates
mightyarcher-hawkeye:
The clock was running on mere seconds left as Clint stood at a street corner that was not exactly empty. He was starting to worry and thinking what ifs. Only ten seconds left and his eyes started darting to everyone around, waiting for his clock to run out. It wasn’t until he made eye contact with someone across the street of speeding traffic. Clint couldn’t help the smile that crept onto his face. As he waited for the traffic light to turn red kept his eyes on the other and raised his hand in an unsure wave.
To be honest Bruce had been watching the clock for years now. An unfortunate side effect of the habit he had picked up of playing with the bands and bracelets he usually tried to keep over it. He didn't think it'd matter if the clock struck zero or not, since he'd had little hope of anyone ever wanting to stay with him to begin with, but another little part of him wondered what such a person would be like. If they were supposedly 'soulmates' then there had to be something they had in common right? otherwise they'd never be happy together.
A car honk blaring right in his ear shattered the daze he'd been in, his train of thought about the timer and it's mysteries coming to a screeching halt. Sending him back to reality and the street corner he'd been standing on for god knows how long while he wandered around inside his head. Where'd he been going again? he couldn't remember now, didn't seem important anymore anyway.
What did seem important was the stranger he'd managed to lock eyes with while he regained his bearings, a shy smile creeping up the corner of his mouth when the other man smiled and waved at him, and for once Bruce felt compelled to wave back.
