MIHOKIYO ARE FINALLY MARRIED!!!!

I'm rewatching Tenchi Universe for the 5 millionth time, and have to say: Way back when I discovered this show as a teenager, I did not ship Mihoshi and Kiyone at all. They were good friends, and partners ONLY in the Galaxy Police sense.

Now, as a 41 year old adult? And honestly, for some time now? THEY'RE GIRLFRIENDS, YOUR HONOR. Or at the very least, they need to be.

Mihoshi: "Happy White Day, Kiyone!"

Kiyone: "Isn't this ... what I gave *you* for Valentine's?"

Mihoshi: "Yes, but I ate all the ones you don't like!"

Kiyone: "Sigh, thanks Mihoshi ..."

So I’ve honestly never been a fan of MihoKiyo, mostly because of Tenchi Universe. Kiyone just yells at Mihoshi in every single scene and treats her like a burden. I get it, different Mihoshis, different circumstances. Its just not a good dynamic when one of them’s ultimate fantasy is getting as far away from the other as possible.  Tenchi in Tokyo, however? Kiyone isn’t some hyper-competent character who has to fix every situation and be the sole voice of reason. She gets to be weird with Mihoshi and do goofy things.Everything about them just clicks so much more in Tokyo. Also, those outfits are 90′s as hell and I love them.
