Unlocked Doors
@mihwoo
It wasn’t too uncommon for Bjoo to go visit Hunter late at night without announcing himself. Honestly, he just assumed that the older guy didn’t care. If he did care, he probably would have kicked Bjoo out for bursting in long ago... Or maybe he would’ve started locking his door. It didn’t exactly strike Bjoo as a good idea to leave the place unlocked in the first place, but who was he to tell Hunter want to do? Besides, it made visiting easier and he could always tell if Hunter was home based on whether or not the door was open. It was a good feeling to know that he could just come in and bother the older man if he needed help or wanted to talk.
Hunter was a good friend... Sure, he was exceptionally quiet and sometimes a bit emotionless, but Bjoo didn’t mind. He almost liked the way that the other could listen to anything he said without getting upset or hating him. He felt like Hunter accepted him, which was something he couldn’t say for everyone he knew. There were plenty of people at Uni that Bjoo wouldn’t open up to for the life of him. It was too risky...
So as he pushed open the door to Hunter’s apartment he didn’t even bother to announce himself. He looked to Hunter’s work desk with a slight yawn. Hunter wasn’t working for once. The desk was just as covered in random papers and pens as normal, though... Hunter should really clean it sometime, though Bjoo was pretty sure he would lose everything if he tried to clean. He rubs his eyes a little. It didn’t seem that late, but maybe he had forgotten to keep track of time. Hunter hopefully hadn’t just left his room with the door unlocked. That would be the start of an even worse habit than leaving it unlocked when he was home. Bjoo shook his head at the idea and walked over toward the bed; still not completely looking up. Maybe he’d just fall asleep here instead of going home.
He looked to the bed and instantly froze. He had found Hunter, but not just Hunter. He turned bright red and stared toward the ground. It was in this exact moment he thought maybe he should learn how to knock instead of just busting into someone’s house when he wanted to... Or maybe he should just... knock before busting in. It really didn’t matter what he did, so long as he didn’t have to walk in on his older friend in bed with another guy. His voice was notably a bit higher than normal as he spoke.
“Uh... Sh-Should I come back another time?”
The pink haired man who was currently in the bed with Hunter just looked up and laughed. He at least had the courtesy to cover himself slightly before tilting his head to look at Hunter. He wasn’t going to push to stick around but having someone walk in on him was certainly amusing. Did Hunter really not even bother to lock the door when he was in bed like this? Such a nasty habit.... Zitao smirked.
“You didn’t tell me you were planning on having more company.” He knew that he was just going to agitate his partner of the day even further with his teasing, but he really didn’t care. It seemed to him that the little, purple-haired boy who had just found his way into the room stepped on a land mine and there was no way the likes of Huang Zitao was going to just let that slide. There was far too much potential for making this situation that much more fun, and that boy’s face turning even darker red was proof. So he raised a brow at the newcomer and leaned forward just slightly. He’d let Hunter handle the rest of this... At least for the moment.
