I also went back to New York because that city is sewn into my heart.

So many emotions.

I was in an abusive relationship with this guy a few years back and I keep thinking about something he said to me. He said “you’re TOO nice. And one day, something is going to happen to you, and all of that will change.”

I keep playing that over and over in my head.

But I also keep telling myself that I will not be defined by what has happened to me or the way that people treat me.

I can make my own decisions about how I treat people.

I am not scum.

I'm going to go back to New York like in April May because I miss it so much and it really felt like home and also foals will probably be touring so I'm going to see them at all shows in so cal and then again in New York probably.
