Returning home with a baby is a little surreal to Buck. It's like an old life and new life colliding as he walks through the front door. It's real now, he’s a dad – yet it doesn't quite feel like it. He places the car seat holding a sleeping Aurora down on the floor as he slips off his shoes and coat. Eddie stands behind him, doing the same and holds his hand out to take Buck's coat and hang it up for him, while Buck continues to stare at the sleeping child. His child. He’s a dad… He's responsible for another human being now.

Miie fic

I went into complete hyperfocus on that Buddie video edit and now I'm behind on writing 🤣 So probably no chapter up tomorrow (Today?😬). I'll try and get it up for the weekend.I'm going away for a few days next week so it's highly unlikely I'll post anything next week, because I'm unlikely to get a chance to write or edit. I'll definitely post something the week after, though!♥️ For now, have another (unedited) sneak peek:

Just over 1K more to go and I'll be caught up. Not sure if I'll manage that or not by the end of the week but I'll post the next chapter regardless.

This fic is definitely surpassing 50k though 😅 I think it's gonna end up being the longest fic I've ever written...and to think I was like eh it'll be like 5K, maybe 10K or so longer than my what's a little love between friends fic...I was wrong...I was sooo wrong 😂

I'm gonna do my absolute best to try and get the next chapter of Mine - implicitly, inevitably, eternally up by the end if the week but writing is going Slooooowlyyyyyy. I've just been way too tired to write. I think the following chapter will probably be a 2 week wait since the next chapter is bordering on 4K and that means I gotta try and write another 4K after posting it to try and keep a head...which considering I haven't managed to write the extra 1.5K that the last chapter was this week - I think it's safe to assume I'm not gonna manage 4K in a week lol.

Speaking of word count, I'm pretty sure this is gonna be a 50K+ fic 😅😂 I severely underestimated it when I set out to write this and I was like yeah it's def gonna be longer than 'Whats a little love between friends?' maybe 20 -25K or closer to 30K if I ramble on...

Oh how naive I was...

500 words to go and I should be finally caught up on my 'Mine - implicitly, inevitably, eternally' fic. Ideally if I can get a bit further a head than that, I'll be less likely to get behind in future but we'll see how inspired I am after a nice, long nap cuz me sleepy 😴

1K more to go on my Mine - implicitly, inevitably, eternally fic and then I'll have an update for you guys. I'm almost caught up, I just didn't manage to get as much writing done this weekend as I hoped. But chapter 11 will be edited and posted this week!

And if it's not, someone check on me cuz I've probably been tricked into eating a cursed apple or something and fallen into a timeless sleep.

Oh wow, this bathroom scene is LONG over 2K and I haven't technically finished it yet 😅

Oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️ at least I've finally got my writing mojo back. I'm starting to catch up to my writing target. If I keep this pace I might edit and upload chapter 11 at the weekend. No promises though!
