No way to transfer miis in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream? No problem!
Much like the rest of y'all, the news of TL's newest installment having limited online features sorta bummed me out; I get it, Nintendo does not want to be associated with the inevitable mass-creation of Charmii Kirks, but, nevertheless, that does put a wrench in our plans, no? I mean, who even has the time (or attention span, really) to recreate their best Shadow the Hedgehog miis from scratch like it's 2008 again?
Well... it actually doesn't have to be that way.
In the year of Satan 2026, the mii community has come a long way since the debut of these little fellas on the wii. As technology progresses, so did the myriad of ways one could archive these adorable avatars! One such method that is currently out there is none other than Miiport!
The program is as simple as it gets; you install it on your handy-dandy switch/emulator, import/export miis into .charinfo files, and voila; your mii has been backed up! Now you'll be free to host these files on whatever site you wish to archive them in and share them with the world!
My favorite part, of course, is that this means I am no longer limited to having 100 Miis on a technicality :D Reached your cap sooner than you expected? No problem; just make sure all your miis are exported to a folder/external drive as safely as you could, and you won't ever have to worry about losing them- so long as you are careful, of course :3
One issue that I have faced while utilizing it, however, is that one needs a "Mii QR Key" if the raw mii data itself is not available. So far, I haven't found much luck looking for one, but I am certain that the lots of you possess higher chances at doing so. c:
Take care, fellow Miiblr members, and may your preparations for the new game go smoothly!
Goodness bless the creators of the Mii Creator and its new update.
//silly way to vent
and now, the dragon jester birds.
Anytime I am not making my miis sing a badly-made cover or an overly complicated - and probably outdated - joke, I like to spill some words in my mind and see what happens.
